How Croonia protects what you sing, and how to tell us about a security problem.
Your practice stays on your iPhone
- Your voice is analysed on your iPhone while you sing. The sound is not uploaded.
- Recordings, imported songs and backing tracks stay on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Practice needs no account and no internet connection.
- This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other sites. Only the home page runs a script, from this site; the legal and help pages run none.
Features that use our servers
Accounts and challenges are optional. When you use them, the app sends only what each feature needs:
- A challenge attempt is sent as numbers for each note, not as audio.
- A take you choose to send is stored at Cloudflare and deleted 7 days after the challenge closes, or 30 days after you send it for review.
- Usage counts contain no audio, no names and no text you type. You can turn them off in Settings.
The privacy policy lists every service provider and how long each one keeps data.
