These terms are an agreement between you and Atomic Reps AB about your use of Croonia, the singing practice app for iPhone, and this website. By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Who we are

What the app does
Croonia plans short singing sessions, measures the pitch and timing of your voice while you sing, and shows results for each note and phrase. The measurements are made by software listening through a microphone. They depend on your room, your microphone and your headphones, and they can be wrong. Results labelled "Provisional" are less certain than other results.
The app is a practice tool. It does not replace a singing teacher.
Your voice and your health
Croonia is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. The app cannot hear strain, tension or injury. Its check-in ("How does your voice feel today?"), its daily singing limits and its rest days are general guidance based on what you tell it and on the minutes it counts. They are estimates and cannot tell whether your voice is healthy.
- If singing hurts, stop.
- If you are hoarse for more than two weeks, lose your voice, or have pain when you sing or speak, see a doctor or a voice professional.
- Do not push your voice to reach a target in the app.
You are responsible for how you use your voice.
Who can use Croonia
You must be at least 13 to use Croonia, or to create an account. If you use the app for someone else, for example a child in your care, you accept these terms for them.
Accounts
You do not need an account to train. An account is needed to send challenges, join groups and enter the weekly world challenge, and to sync between devices. You can play a challenge someone sent you as a guest. Keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app's Settings.
Songs you import and takes you send
Songs you import. Import only audio that you own or have the right to use for your own practice. Imported songs stay on your iPhone; we never receive them, and you are responsible for them.
Takes you send. You keep ownership of any take you send. You give us permission to store it and to play it to the person you chose: the friend in that challenge, or our reviewer when a score is checked. The permission lasts only until the take is deleted (see the privacy policy). Send only your own singing.
Challenges and fair play
Challenges are for singing. Do not:
- submit a score that does not come from your own live singing, for example by playing a recording or a synthesiser into the microphone;
- harass, threaten or insult other singers, or use a display name that does;
- try to get into another person's account or into our systems.
Our server calculates every score from the per-note numbers the app sends, and checks them for signs that a score did not come from real singing (see the privacy policy). A score that looks wrong is held off the world and league boards until it is checked. We may remove a score or a display name that breaks these rules, and we may suspend an account that breaks them repeatedly.
Acceptable use
Do not copy, change, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it. Do not use the app or this website to break the law or to disrupt the service for others.
Our content and your licence
The app, its exercises, its arrangements of the included songs, its design and this website belong to Atomic Reps AB. The melodies of the included songs are in the public domain. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its support.
Price and payments
The price of Croonia, and of anything you can buy in it, is shown in the App Store before you pay. Apple takes the payment, and Apple's rules apply to refunds and to cancelling a subscription.
Changes to the app
We change the app over time: we add, change and remove features, songs and exercises. We try to keep the service running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. If we stop offering a server feature such as challenges, we will tell you in the app first.
Ending
You can stop using Croonia at any time by deleting the app, and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where possible, we will tell you why first.
Limits of our responsibility
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for any injury or harm that comes from how you use your voice. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be limited, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
